Farkle scoring chart - what every combination is worth
These are exactly the values the online game scores with. Write each banked turn into your column and keep a running total - the chart lives in the sheet's footer too, so it survives the print.
| Combination | It scores |
|---|---|
| Single 1 | 100 each |
| Single 5 | 50 each |
| Three 1s | 1000 |
| Three of a kind (2–6) | face × 100 (three 4s = 400) |
| Four of a kind (any face) | 1000 |
| Five of a kind (any face) | 2000 |
| Six of a kind (any face) | 3000 |
| Run of six (1-2-3-4-5-6) | 2500 |
| Three pairs (incl. four of a kind + pair) | 1500 |
| No scoring dice | FARKLE - turn total lost |
Keeping the sheet honest: three table rules worth agreeing first
- Combinations count per roll, not per turn. Three 4s must appear in one roll to score 400 - a 4 kept earlier does not join two new ones. The sheet argument this settles is the most common one in Farkle.
- Every set-aside die must score. You may keep any subset of scoring dice, but a non-scoring die can never ride along - if all six score, you roll all six again ("hot dice") and keep building the same turn.
- Bank before the farkle, not after. Points only reach the sheet when you stop. A 1500-point turn that rolls one time too many writes nothing at all.
Frequently asked questions
How do you keep score in Farkle?
Each turn you roll six dice, set aside scoring dice, and either bank the turn total or roll the rest again. A roll with no scoring dice is a farkle - the whole turn score is lost and you write nothing. When you bank, add the turn total to your running column; the first player to reach 10,000 points wins.
What is the Farkle scoring chart?
Single 1s are 100 and single 5s are 50. Three of a kind scores the face value times 100 (three 2s = 200, three 6s = 600), except three 1s which score 1000. Four, five and six of a kind of any face score a flat 1000, 2000 and 3000. A run of all six numbers (1-2-3-4-5-6) scores 2500, and three pairs score 1500 - a four of a kind plus a pair also counts as three pairs.
How many points do you need to win Farkle?
The standard target - and the one this site’s online game uses - is 10,000 points. House variants play to 5000 for a shorter evening; the sheet works for either, just agree the target before the first roll.
What happens when you farkle?
If a roll produces no scoring dice at all, your turn ends instantly and every point you had accumulated that turn is gone. Nothing is written on the sheet - some tables mark a small F in the box to track farkle streaks, which is also a fun statistic to settle arguments with.
How many players can use one score sheet?
This sheet has six player columns and eighteen rows of turns plus a total line. Two to six players fit on one page; for a longer session with fewer players, give each player two columns and play two games.
Can I play Farkle online instead?
Yes - the free online Farkle on this site rolls the dice, spots every scoring combination, warns you what is at risk and keeps the running totals automatically. The printable exists for table play with real dice; the online game is the zero-setup version.
